The need for an Estate Sale can arise under many circumstances. Sales are conducted for clients who are moving, relocating, downsizing, combining households or have lost a friend or family member or friend.
For smaller Estates we can assist you in the move of your items to our facility for sale. We work with qualified movers, who at a reasonable charge can move your items to the store for sale.
We provide free in home consultation and pre-sale estimates. Call us at 248-681-6120 and we will schedule a time to meet and review your items and discuss sale procedures and options.
Estate Sale Services Overview: Do not throw all the stuff away - we will sell all household items: furniture, area rugs, jewelry, clothes, shoes, pots & pans, linens, tools, garage and garden items, art, cleaning supplies, lamps and more. The old saying "One person's trash, is another person's treasure." is so very true!
During our initial meeting, we will spend a great deal of time talking about your estate & contents, discussing our commission for estate services, picking the dates for your sale & then formulating a game plan for the big event!
The sale is advertised in the local newspaper, on our website, on line estate sale sites, and we provide the outdoor signage as well.
Typically a sale is held on Friday and Saturday, if required we will also host a sale on Sunday. The staff assists the customers with product questions, sale pricing and purchasing their items. As items sell, we document them, with the price they sold for. We provide this information to you after the sale to keep for your records. From our customers we accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit Cards and local checks.
Estate Sale Proceeds will be paid out within 10 days of the sale. We will provide a detailed listing of the items that sold and for how much.
We will supply you with various options regarding how to dispose of the remaining contents. Most items of any considerable value will sell during the estate sale, however there is occasionally a piece that we are surprised did not sell. If you choose to, items may go to our showroom after the sale on a consignment basis. Other options include buy outs, clean outs and charity pick ups. We work with some wonderful charitable organizations who will come in after the sale, box the remaining items, take them away and supply you with an itemized list for tax purposes. You may choose to keep the remaining items and dispose of them on your own- the choice is completely yours to make.
